With a gin lover in the family, we started the search for a gin cocktail to serve for a ladies brunch-in. Using Pinterest as a go-to for recipes the top three that caught our eye, mainly for the fresh and in-season fruits that were the ingredients to make drinks. As we are getting into the routine with back to school, granola was on the list for a healthy snack that is easy to prepare in a big batch. This is the perfect healthy baked good to have on-hand for making a yogurt parfait, topping on salads, using as trail mix or adding to oatmeal for added crunch. One of life’s simple pleasures is a piece of homemade banana bread with a cup of coffee or tea.
